A Fundraising Competition for Ky Hunter

I hope we caught your attention with the title of the event. We are hosting an in-house competition of Fight Gone Bad, a classic CrossFit WOD, as a fundraiser for Ky Hunter’s medical expenses. Ky has breast cancer and is undergoing a double mastectomy this month. We want to show our emotional and financial support for her during this difficult time.

Details:When: Saturday, February 21st @ 10:00am

Where: All Pro CrossFit, 11068 W. Jewell Ave., Lakewood, CO 80232

Cost: any amount of donation. The easiest way to donate is through her GoFundMe page.

What: Fight Gone Bad (look it up!)

Who: This event is for anyone in the community, so please spread the word to your fellow CrossFitters.

How to sign up: Please RSVP on the All Pro FB event page or send an email to [email protected] so she can organize all participants into heats.

How can I help if I can’t attend the event or I don’t want to compete?1. Donate through Ky’s GoFundMe page. She will appreciate any amount!

2. Donate a service or product for raffle prizes.

3. Offer your time organizing the event. Email [email protected]. She loves all the ideas that are coming her way and needs help implementing them.

4. Share the FB event on your personal FB page or send this email to your friends.

5. Buy a special “Boobs Gone Bad” t-shirt. They will be available for sale at the gym on the day of the event and afterwards. All proceeds will go into Ky’s fund.

6. Volunteer to be a competition judge or help with other tasks the day of the event. We need help!

7. Offer to make a meal for Ky. There will be a sign-up sheet at the gym.

What else?In case you didn’t know, Ky was a Marine Major and flew Cobra helicopters in Afghanistan and Iraq. It looks like a few of her Marine buddies might be able to join us at the event which will be so amazing!

This is going to be FUN so please join us. We are working on having a food truck at the event. Beer and booby cupcakes have already been donated. There is a possibility of a bouncy castle if the management company approves it. (fingers crossed)Also, bring CASH to the event so you can buy a t-shirt and extra raffle tickets.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!

Kathy and Mark
